Arkansas Train Tours | Travel Tips – USATODAY.com

This is an article about an attraction here in Eureka Springs that we have enjoyed many times. The excursion train is fun and the lunch & dinner trains have great food. If you’ll be here when the train is operating it is a fun thing to add to your list of things to do.

Arkansas Train Tours Travel Tips – USATODAY.com: “Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is a tourist town that attracts shoppers, historians and tourists looking for a little Arkansas amusement. The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway, also known as the ES&NA R.R., has a locomotive from the 1940s and a dining car that hails from the 1920s era. The locomotive is also called the Excursion Train. The train ride is a short 4.5 miles from start to finish. The route goes through the Ozark Mountains. The train runs from April to the end of October. It is an educational excursion. The crew and conductor entertain questions and give instruction on how the train operates. Back at the Eureka Springs Depot, you can see other antique train memorabilia, some of which shows visitors how the trains were in 1883 when they first came to Eureka Springs. After leaving the depot, explore and stay in the town. Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway 299 North Main St. Eureka Springs, AR 72632-3144 479-253-9623 esnarailway.com”
