The art and sculpture work of Dale Chihuly will be featured soon @ Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. Located just an hour from Heartstone Inn, it is a great day trip on your visit to Eureka Springs. The museum itself is free of charge and is well worth the visit all alone. The architecture and outdoor spaces are Cheri and Rick’s favorites. Great landscaped walking trails lead to downtown Bentonville with lots of fun art along the way.

The exhibit is June 3 – August 14 and features works of Chihuly art ‘In the Gallery’ and ‘In the Forest’. You do need to purchase a ticket for the special exhibit, it is $20.

The next exhibit is August 16 – November 13 featuring ‘In the Forest’ Chihuly art. This is $10. The rest of the museum is free. The link below will lead you to their facebook page and link you to purchase tickets.

Garden & Gun Magazine visits our area

GG0416_cover_WEBWe were recently interviewed for the Garden & Gun magazine. We weren’t familiar with it, but it is a beautiful magazine published in South Carolina. Think Southern Living, but something for the entire family. The article is on Northwest Arkansas, where to eat, what to do, and of course where to stay. Segments include Bentonville, Eureka Springs and Fayetteville. Jay Jennings is the author and now happy to say, customer. The August/September issue is on stands now, pick up and copy and see for yourself. Great recipes, gardening, hunting, fishing, and us!

Follow the link below to see the whole article. It’s an awesome article with some great ideas of what do to and see while you’re in our area.
